Couples Therapy

She is hurting, she feels betrayed and all trust has been broken.

You feel ashamed, frustrated and belittled. You know your actions have caused a lot of pain, yet you don’t know how to stop. Maybe you even feel justified.

There is hope to restore trust, repair intimacy and start new again.

It takes time. It takes work. Healing is possible

  • Restore Trust

To restore trust will take time. I will work with both of you to create boundaries and practices that will initially provide a safer space between you. We explore the patterns that have existed in your relationship and work to break the cycles.

  • Renew Hope

When our partner has been a source of pain, it is difficult to imagine there is hope for healing. The good news of the Gospel shares that our hope is not in our current situations but in the healing power of Jesus. As we work through hurtful addictive behaviors, painful feelings of betrayal and learn how to move forward we will draw on this hope.

  • Repair Intimacy

Intimacy may look very different in this season. Together we will explore what it could look like for you to begin to turn towards each other. We will navigate and tune in to what you are feeling, what you are needing and learn how to communicate those feelings and needs to your partner.

You don’t have to do this alone.

When you are feeling hurt, angry, lonely, betrayed, abandoned and unloved in your relationship it can be hard to even want to repair. You do not have to walk through this on your own. Your feelings make sense, but you do not want to stay in this place. Our work together will not be easy, in fact it will require more of you than you might desire, but I truly believe there is hope for your relationship. Give me a call today to explore how we can work together.
